CMCs second facility is the Muncie Reception and Diagnostic Center (MRDC) located in Muncie, Indiana. This facility provides regimented and structured detention, as well as diagnostic services. These services are available for males and females, regardless of age. The mission or our Muncie facility is to provide services to counties and their children that is of the highest quality of care, supervision, security, diagnostic testing, programming, education and direct services in a detention environment. Our staff promotes positive changes through structure, discipline and support, consistent with the highest professional standards. Our philosophy is guided by the fact that our decisions and actions affecting children today determine the quality of their lives tomorrow.

MRDC also provides diagnostic services. These services are delivered in part through a partnership with Ball State University and their school of Psychology. The diagnostic services available include:

1. Standard psychological evaluation;
2. Psycho-educational and psychological evaluation;
3. Neuropsychological and psychological evaluation;
4. Psychosexual and psychological evaluation.

We are confident that our detention services and diagnostic services address county needs throughout Indiana and the Midwest in an innovative and responsive manner.
